What metals are used in the earrings?
We use 14K gold-filled and sterling silver components — not gold-plated base metal. Gold-filled contains 100x more gold than plated and will not tarnish or wear off with regular use.
Are the beads glass or acrylic?
Czech glass exclusively. We never use acrylic or plastic beads. Czech glass has optical clarity, consistent shape, and durability that cheap imitations lack.
Are gemstones used?
In select styles, yes — genuine natural gemstones sourced from the Tucson Gem Show, the world's premier gem sourcing event.
Are the earrings heavy to wear?
We design with wearability in mind — balance, weight distribution, and comfort are priorities alongside aesthetics. Most styles are lightweight enough for all-day wear.
Are these suitable for sensitive ears?
Sterling silver and 14K gold-filled findings are generally well-tolerated by sensitive ears. We do not use nickel-based alloys in our findings.
How are the earrings made?
Each pair is assembled by hand in our Florida studio. No mass production. No outsourcing. Every detail is handled by the maker.

We believe in honest pricing and thoughtful service. That’s why we don’t offer “free shipping”—because it’s never truly free. Instead of padding our product prices to cover shipping, we keep pricing transparent and fair.
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and the total weight of your order. This ensures that you’re not overpaying—especially when purchasing multiple items.
We currently ship exclusively through USPS. Most orders are processed and shipped within 1–3 business days, unless otherwise noted on the product page.

Every piece is handmade in our Florida studio using high-quality materials and careful craftsmanship. We create in small batches based on what’s available in our studio at any given time.
Inventory shown reflects exactly what we’re capable of making with the materials on hand—no fake countdowns, no artificial scarcity. We don’t believe in pressure tactics or creating fear of missing out. Our goal is to offer a relaxed, honest shopping experience where you can choose at your own pace.

All packages are shipped with insurance at no extra cost to you. We cover this ourselves to ensure you’re protected without having to pay extra for add-ons at checkout. Your peace of mind matters to us.
If your package is damaged in transit or there’s an issue with delivery, please contact us at orders@rheaartistrystudio.com with photos of the damage. We'll handle the claim process with USPS so you don’t have to.

We put great care into creating each pair of earrings by hand. Because of the personal nature of our work, we are unable to accept returns, refunds, or exchanges on earrings.
